Activity #4 Big Bang

 ORIGIN AND EXPANSION OF THE BIG BANG


Most astronomers believe that the Universe began in a Big Bang about 14 billion years ago. At that time, the entire universe was inside a bubble that was thousands of times smaller than a pine head. It was hotter and denser than anything we can imagine.


The phrase "Big Bang Theory" has been popular with astrophysicists for decades, but it hit the mainstream in 2007 when a comedy show of the same name premiered on CBS. The show follows the academic and family life of several researchers (including an astrophysicist).
